Short Course: Constant Volume Combustion

Prof. C.O. Paschereit, The Chair of Fluid Dynamics, and the Einstein Foundation Berlin are proud to announce a public lecture series on Constant Volume Combustion presented by Dr. Ephraim Gutmark from the University of Cincinnati.

The short course will cover the topics “An Introduction to Pulse Jets”, “Detonation Theory”, and “Pressure Gain Combustion”. Each lecture will be composed of a 90-minute presentation and additional time for Q&A.

  • Monday, December 11th, 4-6 pm, MB13:
    • An Introduction to Pulse Jets
  • Wednesday, December 13th, 4- 6 pm, MB 13:
    • Detonation Theory
  • Friday, December 15th, 4- 6 pm, MB 13:
    • Pressure Gain Combustion

Dr. Gutmark is a Einstein Visiting Fellow at TU Berlin, a Distinguished Professor and Ohio Eminent Scholar, and Professor of Aerospace Engineering & Engineering Mechanics at the University of Cincinnati.

The course will be held in English. No registration necessary.
